"The Great Flood and the Rainbow Covenant"
According to Genesis, when human corruption reached its peak, God decided to judge the world with a flood. Only the righteous Noah was told to build a massive Ark for his family and animals. Rain fell for 40 days and nights, covering the earth, but those inside the Ark were saved.
After the waters receded and the Ark rested on Mount Ararat, Noah sent out a dove to confirm the land was dry. God placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of His covenant never to destroy the earth by water again. It remains a symbol of hope and mercy amidst judgment.
