The Hajj

"Unity before God"

The Kaaba, Mecca

🕋 Journey of a Lifetime

The Hajj is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Every Muslim who is physically and financially able must undertake this journey once. Over 2 million people gather annually, wearing simple white cloths (Ihram) to strip away markers of wealth and status.

📚 Rituals of Abraham

Pilgrims circle the black cube structure called the Kaaba seven times, reenacting the trials of Prophet Abraham and his family. They stand on the plains of Arafat in prayer. It is a powerful demonstration of global unity and equality within the Islamic community (Ummah).
